At the age of fifteen Agnetha was taken on by a person called Brent Enghardt who had a dance band, this is were Agnetha`s dreams came true, the dance band popularity grew and Agnetha found herself working all hours to try and meet the band's demands
 
Also working during the day as a switchboard operator Agnetha found thing had sometimes coming hone a five in the morning and having to be at work for eight, her Mother concerned for the situation said that she would have to decide between her job or her Music well we all know what she chose !
 
So a new life began for Agnetha and similar to her idol Connie Francis she also chose ballads and love songs to sing, it wasn't long before she was noticed by a talent scout called Little Gerhard ,a Swedish ex rocker who rang Agnetha at home and invited her to record some songs in a Stockholm Studio.

 On the train to Stockholm Agnetha was nervous, her Father had gone with her and was present a the recording session that followed.

Gerhard told her that she had talent but the band she was with did not , so a decision had to be made the band or her music, However as Agnetha said "When fortune comes you way you cant let it pass you by..."
 
Only a few weeks went by before her first single was released, I was sitting at the breakfast table recalls Agnetha and suddenly my song came on I took the radio in my arms and danced around with it Ill never forget it when I look back now that was one of the happiest moments of my working life. 

Agnetha had many different faces and looks from the outrageous ABBA costumes that we all took for granted in the 70s and 80s to the more subtle and professional look as she matured .

Agnetha married Bjorn Ulveaus on the 6th of July 1971, the small 17th Century gothic church was packed with the cream of the Swedish pop world and also some specially invited celebrities. Over three thousand people gathered to get a glimpse of the wedding of the year.

"JAG VAR SA KAR"(I WAS SO IN LOVE) was my first single recalls Agnetha, I remember that it became No 1 in the Charts at the same time as the Beatles
